Hello
Fellow Wayward Travelers!!!
Well,
I stated out today’s driving knowing that I would be on the road most of the
day! I had planned to drive from Exeter, New Hampshire to Hermon, Maine with
only one museum stop. That stop was to see the American Independence Museum in
Exeter, New Hampshire. Well, did I get a surprise --- THEY WERE CLOSED!!! Some
special event was going on and they closed for the day!!! Otherwise, they are
open every day of the week. So, off I went, not too happy, but knowing that I
would get to the RV Park a little earlier that I had figured!!!
I
didn’t take any photos today except as I approached Maine, I thought I would
take one of the sign saying “Welcome to Maine”. Well I got it --- it’s a little
fuzzy because I am driving and it is out the front windshield of the truck, but
you get the picture!!!
Well
I finally got to my RV Park! It’s called the Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in Hermon,
Maine. It’s nice and almost full!! I will keep the Travel Trailer here until
Monday and go exploring in the truck. That way I don’t have to worry about
finding another RV Park during the 4th of July weekend. It seems
like all of Ney York, Massachusetts and Connecticut are up here trying to go
camping --- the roads today were full of RVs and Trailers!!!
Anyway,
that’s all for today!!!
NOTE
--- I ADDED THE STORIES AND PHOTOS TO MY BLOG POST DATED 07/02/0213! BE
SURE
TO READ IT!!!
Well,
I am running out of things to say, and I have no more photos, so, with
that, I will go for now, but I will see you all again tomorrow. I will be exploring
Maine!!!
Again, to quote that
great comedian, Red Skelton, "Good Night and May God Bless!"
